450hp articulated Lovol tractor

There is nothing official, but this picture clearly shows that Chinese manufacturer Weichai-Lovol has developed its first articulated tractor. Called the P9000, it is believed to have an output of 450hp.Weichai-Lovol, which has injected new life into the ill-fated Arbos brand, was catapulted under the spotlights at last November’s Agritechnica where is showed a number of Lovol-branded tractors.The largest model on the stand was the 240hp P7240. However, the company also spoke of plans to come with more powerful tractors, one of which includes the 340hp P3404 recently unveiled at a farm machinery show in Wuhan, China. Powered by a 9.5l Stage V Weichai WP10H motor mated to an in-house developed 40km/hr CVT, the standard spec of the first model in the P8000 series includes a suspended seat and cab.There are fewer details of the P9000 articulated tractor. We do not know the size of the six-pot Weichai-Lovol block in this tractor, but it is widely rumoured that it peaks at 450hp.It is believed that there will be two transmission options: a mechanical 18fx12r box and a CVT.
