Segway stretches AT5

The AT5 L is a new long wheelbase ATV from Segway Powersports. It is largely identical to the standard AT5 with its 39hp, 499cc DOHC fuel-injected engine and CVTech auto-transmission with selectable four-wheel drive and diff locks but measures 15cm longer. It also features electric power steering and is T3b compliant to meet road-homologation rules.Improved stability is the main reason for introducing the stretched chassis L version, especially when used for towing. Standard spec also include alloy wheels clad with 25in Wanda tyres, hydraulic shock absorbers, winch, front and rear racks as well as hand guards. There is a choice of ‘radical orange’ or metallic green for the £6,499 (inc VAT) ATV – £500 more than the standard wheelbase version. As with all Segway utility ATVs offered for sale in the UK, the AT5 L is sold complete with CESAR security marking which is recognised by all major insurers, in many cases offering a reduction on premiums with lower excesses.
